Mayamn™ is a concept for collaborative sustainability via all options including eco-friendly desalination, atmospheric water generation, wastewater recycling, solar still, and water savings concepts; and powered by renewable energy including solar, wind, geothermal, hydropower, ocean energy, and bioenergy; and supported by reusable, recyclable, biodegradable and compostable packaging. The concept can help alleviate current challenges and provide a clear benefit now and for the future. Mayamn™ supports at least 12 of the 17 United Nations Development Goals.
The principal renewable focus is on wave energy conversion and Mayamn is working closely with Norwegian technology leader HAVKRAFT

Translucidus is the Middle East Adviser to Havkraft
Wave power is a dynamic renewable energy source for sustainable development that harnesses the ocean wave power to generate electricity. Havkraft has developed a revolutionary capability with a vital technology which avoids the use of moving mechanical parts in direct contact with the sea. This technology is known as the Oscillating Water Column (OWC) and is a solution with great longevity and lower operation and maintenance costs. Translucidus is delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Havkraft. As part of the MoU, Translucidus and Havkraft will work together to identify areas of collaboration and support for project Mayamn, which is for the supply of clean water in a sustainable manner. Havkraft is a valuable addition to project Mayamn’s concept of providing clean water sustainably.
Havkraft is world leader in the harnessing of wave power for electricity generation. Havkraft’s technology is very flexible and can be fitted to most any client demand. Havkraft’s wave energy converters can be delivered as add on-solutions to existing infrastructure, they can be integrated in new designs, or they are delivered as a part of their unique standalone powerplants.

Translucidus is delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with United Engineering Services (UES). As part of the MoU, Translucidus and UES will work together to identify areas of collaboration and support for project Mayamn, which is for the supply of clean water in a sustainable manner. UES will explore opportunities to bring project Mayamn’s renewable energy technologies to the local market in line with Oman’s Vision 2040.
The MoU furthermore allows UES to harness the value of the Translucidus consultancy for the research and evaluation for water security and renewable energy technologies in Oman and the Middle East.
